SPECIAL ELECTION SET FOR SENATE DISTRICT 13 - NEWPORT AND JAMESTOWN

Pursuant to RIGL §17-3-6, Secretary of State Nellie M. Gorbea has called for a special election to fill the Senatorial District 13 vacancy left by the resignation of Senator Paiva Weed.  The special election has been scheduled for August 22, 2017, with party primaries scheduled for July 18, 2017.

* Please note:  You must vote in the primary of the party with which you are affiliated.  If you are unaffiliated, you may vote in either party's primary (only one).  You will automatically become affiliated with the party you choose.  If you wish to disaffiliate after the primary, you may submit a new voter registration form to the Board of Canvassers, or update your registration using the link below to go to the VOTER INFORMATION CENTER.
